Hi, I’m Michelle

I’m a wife, a mom, an entrepreneur—and the heart behind A Love That Prepares™. More than anything, I’m someone who wants to love Jesus and my family well—not just in the big moments, but in the quiet, unseen ways that truly matter.

Where This Began

One Sunday during worship, I felt a quiet but undeniable prompting: Go home and get everything in order. Make it accessible for Micah someday. The thought was overwhelming… even frightening. But I couldn’t ignore it. So through tears, I began.

As I started gathering passwords, writing letters, and organizing what I could, something became clear very quickly: I wasn’t as prepared as I thought I was. Important details were scattered in different places, and much of the information my family might need was stored only in my memory. Even my son's childhood photos had never been printed or organized. I kept coming back to one sobering question:  If I don’t even know where everything is… how would anyone else?

What I Realized

A few days later, standing at my stove, still processing everything, I felt the next step just as clearly: Write the book. Create what you wish you had. Help others be prepared and live intentionally too. And in that moment, everything shifted. What began in fear became something filled with purpose.

The Turning Point

That experience became A Love That Prepares™. Today, I help families:
* Get organized

* Prepare wisely

* Care for what matters most

* Live with more peace
Out of love, not fear. Because preparation isn't about expecting the worst. It's about loving people well.

What It Became
A Little More About Me

I live with my husband Joe—my college sweetheart—our son Micah, and a puppy on the way. Life in this season is full, busy, and beautiful, and it continues to remind me daily why this message matters so much.

If you've ever thought, "I should probably get things in order.... " This is your invitation. Not to act out of fear, but out of love.
